Mary Heaphy, age 46, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004 in Nashville, TN following an illness. She was preceded in death by mother, Margaret Heaphy and father, John Heaphy. She is survived by husband, Allan Gonce and son, Dean of Franklin, TN; brothers, Richard Heaphy, Michael Heaphy and wife, Evelyn, Joe Heaphy, Steve Heaphy and wife, Teresa, and John Heaphy. Internment was held November 23 in TN. Mary spent a majority her life in Albuquerque, attending Heights Catholic and St. Pius schools. She later moved to Estancia before relocating to Nashville in 1994. Mary faced extreme adversity in her life with dignity, hope, and a strong faith and was known for her compassion and friendship. She will be missed by her family and many friends in New Mexico and Tennessee.
