Obituary for LIND

Nola Lind, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 55 years, died Monday, November 22, 2004. She was born and raised in the Oklahoma Panhandle. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1932. She married Lloyd Lind in 1934. Nola and Lloyd worked together in the Bermerton shipyard in Washington during World War II. They moved to Albuquerque in 1948, where she worked and retired from the State Electrical Board. Nola was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. We will miss her. Nola was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd on October 31, 1997. She is survived by her son, William Lind and wife, Julie of Albuquerque; sister, Hazel McDaniel of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Clinton Lind and wife, Tammie of Corrales and Kori Heath of Peralta; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
