Helen T. Armijo, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, November 20, 2004. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Gross and husband, Kenneth, Jesse Armijo and wife, Donna, Francella Inherst and husband, Roger, Rudy Armijo and wife, Maria, Gerald Armijo, Roy Armijo and wife, Christina, Genevieve Armijo, Trisha Vaughan, James Armijo and wife, Manuela, Lloyd Armijo and wife, Teresa, Yvette Gonzales and husband, Dominic, and Filbert Martinez; 37 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Adolpho Armijo and son, Antonio Armijo. Helen was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Church. She was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all of her loving family. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW, with James Rael reciting. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Joe Vigil, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Inherst, Roy Armijo, Ronnie Salas, Diego Gillean, Filbert Martinez, Gerald Armijo, James Armijo and Lloyd Armijo. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for all the support and comfort to the Hospice staff.
