Alice C. Mrs. Alice C. Otero, 85, born May 16, 1919 and a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. She went to walk on the streets of gold with our Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2004 after a long illness. She was born in Endee, N.M. and resided in Tucumcari until 1951, she then moved to Los Angeles, California until she retired from Zerox in 1981. Mrs. Otero then moved to Albuquerque and has been a resident since then. Mrs. Otero is survived by her loving children, Joan Teran and husband, Mario, Richard Otero, Patricia ( Patsy ) Gutierrez and husband, Bernie and Ruben Bustamante; four sisters, Delfina Falcon, Irene Chavez, Mary Lou Sanchez and husband, Juan, Georgia Sanchez and husband, Robert; two brothers, Enrique Cordova and wife, Julia, Albert Anaya and wife, Leona; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Otero was a member of the Catholic Church and Los Volcanes Senior Citizens Center. A visitation for Mrs. Otero will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Michael Barreras, Rick Trujillo, Carlos Bustamante, Ruben Bustamante Jr., Andrew Chavez and Jospeh Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jeremy Hawthorn, Isaac Begay, Michael Barreras Jr., Gabriel Barreras, Eric Gutierrez and Joshua Begay. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW 243-7861
