Margaret A. Stephenson, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1987, died October 15, 2004. She is survived by her son, Larry Stephenson and wife Katrina of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Hilary Meyer and husband, Jared and Lindsay Stephenson, all of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Stephenson in 1987 and her brother, Frederick M. Smith in 1989. She was born and raised in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Stephenson was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her devotion to her family and son was shown when she entered the work force and began a career to assist her son with his college education. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Shreveport. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2004 at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel with Dr. Roy Elmore, officiating. Interment will take place in Shreveport, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in Mrs. Stephenson's name.
