Obituary for VILLA

Martha Maria Magdalena Villa, age 53, was born August 12, 1952 and passed away November 16, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Villa; her father, Laute Lucero; and her son, Ruben Miguel Villa. Martha Villa was a magnificent woman of many traits and talents. Many knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, and a good friend. Through her life, she was a hospice and licensed nursing care provider, truck driver, construction worker, sculptor, artist, teacher, band manager, master marksmen, champion race car driver, coyote, queen of billiards, and not to mention, a terrific dancer. Through the years, she has touched many lives with her kindness and compassion. She will never be forgotten. Martha is survived by her mother, Susan Lucero; her partner of 19 years, Isidro Duran; brother, Ezekiel and his partner, Doug; sister, Elisa Gonzales and husband, Martin; children, Elauterio, Leonardo, Lino, and Elisa Shanna and partner, Velente; niece, Rebecca; nephew, Juan; grandchildren, Eldefonso, Cristoval, Raul, Brad, Ryan, Julian; and many, many friends. A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW. on Friday, November 19, 2004 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be at the Villa Family Cemetery on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at 10:30 am.
