Edward L. Strance, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, quietly slept away from us on Friday, November 12, 2004. Edward served his country in WWII and then retired from Sandia Labs. He is survived by his daughter, Melody Porr; two grandchildren, Shane and Cherise; two great-grandchildren, Edwardito and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvina in 2002. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 2:00 pm at French Mortuary - Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. Private interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association of NM, 525 San Pedro NE #101, 87108.
