Obituary for GOFF

Margaret "Margo" L. Goff, 68, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, November 11, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Emerson E. Goff; step-daughters, Betsy Neuhaus and Edward Schultz, all of Albuquerque and Edna Hatty and husband, Samuel of Elephant Butte; and brothers, Elidio and Henry Gonzales and wife, Lupe, sisters, Mary Alice DeLaGarza and husband, Alex, Olivia Rios and husband, Albert Virginia "Pina" Spencer, all of San Antonio, TX; friend and cousin, Susie Atkins and husband, Larry; numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews; and her constant companion, Jack, her German Shepherd. Mrs. Goff was a terrific marriage partner. She worked several years for Lovelace Hospital in the Histology Department. Mrs. Goff returned to college and graduated from UNM with a degree in Education and then returned to work at her first love, as a histologist at Tri-Core. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Mrs. Goff was a longtime active member of the German Shepherd Club of America. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. and followed by Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m., at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE.
