Juan A. Sanchez, 57, passed away November 11, 2004. Juan was born in Las Vegas, NM, November 12, 1946. He is survived by daughters, Andrea Sanchez and Kathy Sanchez; grandchildren, Carissa Romero, Gabriel Baca, and Cody James; brother and sisters, Manuel Sanchez, Caroline Maestas, Genevieve Baca, and Rosie Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews, including Marc Baca and Mike Herrera with whom he had close ties. He was a well known hairdresser/instructor in Albuquerque for many decades, answering to the affectionate title of Mr. Juan. Services will be held Saturday, November 13 at 6:00 pm at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. S.E.
