Elvira A. Marquez, age 95, beloved mother and grandmother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, November 10, 2004. Elvira was born in Marquez, NM to the late Procopio and Pabla Anaya; and was a resident of San Ysidro, NM. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving children, Ida Garcia, Cassie Vieira, Estolano Marquez and wife Olivia, Jerry Marquez, and Judy Marquez; 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Elvira will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary; where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. tonight. Mass of Christian burial is pending and will be announced. Interment will follow at the San Ysidro Catholic Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Don Garcia, Louie Garcia, Ronnie Marquez, Mike Marquez, Orlando Vieira, and Andrew Vieira. Honorary bearers will be Pat Garcia and Marty Garcia.
