Thomas William Demaline, 91, of Gardner, KS, died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, KS. Tom was born in North Olmsted, OH, on July 7, 1913 to Clarence & Mae Demaline. He graduated High School in Ohio, and married Evelyn Klose in North Olmsted. Tom lived in Safford, AZ and moved to Albuquerque, NM, in 1957. He was the state manager for the Seagrams Distillery. Tom's reputation as a hard working professional salesman became well known. Quality Import Co. hired Tom in 1966 and awarded him the Distinguished Salesman's Award in 1967. Tom was a Shriner in New Mexico and a member of the Masonic Lodge Scottish Rite. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mae Demaline; wife, Eyelyn; siblings, Denny Lions and Irene Stokes; daughter, Marilyn Smith; and grandson, Tom, Jr. Survivors include sons, Tom Demaline, of Surprise, AZ, C. L. "Butch" Demaline of Gardner, KS, and Frank Smith of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Lynda Jackson of Springfield, MA; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Memorial Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, Kansas.
