Obituary for BELL

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday November 10, 2004

Verna. After a lengthy illness, Verna "Butchie" Bell happily joined her family in heaven on November 6, 2004. Born March 23, 1921 in House, NM, her time formerly established in this world produced a wonderful fulfilling life. Butchie experienced all she had desired to in life, among such, a mother, wife, successful businesswoman, and caring church worker. She enjoyed playing bridge and listening to books during her later years. Never inhospitable, Butchie welcomed all and had a loving ambiance about her. Joining her dear parents, Frank and Georgia Wallace, her caring husband, Paul Tex Bell, and her beloved son, Frank Bell, Butchie advances to a finer place. She will be deeply missed by her friends and especially her family; daughter, Vivian Mohler and husband, Jerry; Sons, Paul C. Bell and wife, Cathy, and John W. Bell and wife, Chris; grandchildren, Karen Roelandts and husband, Michael, Michele Mohler, Lisa Mohler, Ryan Bell, Amber Murphy and husband Josh, Logan Bell and Bonnie Bell; great-grandchildren, Jillian Webb, Gelsey Webb and Stephanie Bell Reyes; sisters, Joan Thew and Ruth Pohle; and cousin, Stoney Hatley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Books for the Blind, Inc. 4809 Avenue N, Brooklyn, NY 11234 or New Mexico Commission for the Blind, 2200 Yale Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
