Gertrude "Trudie" LaBour, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1939, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 after a long illness. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Edwards and husband, Larry of Belen, NM; son, Jerry Wayne Shouse and wife, Judy of Wedowee, AL; grandchildren, Terri Chambers and husband, Randy of Durango, Colorado, Traci Remington and husband, Jeff of Albuquerque, Michelle LeBlanc and husband Darrel Ferris of Alabama, and Jeremy Cooke and wife, Kara of Alabama; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Street of Albuquerque; brothers, Arnold Ahrnsbrak and wife, Yoshi of Vernal, Utah and Leonard Ahrnsbrak and wife, Jean of Theodosia, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell Shouse and Ralph LaBour and son, Steven Shouse. "Trudie" sang in the Young At Heart Choir.
