Anthony Russ Candelaria, "Tony," was born in Phoenix, AZ, July 22, 1956. He passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004 in Albuquerque. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Jose E. Candelaria and two brothers, Henry and Dennis Candelaria. He is survived by his wife, Sherry of the family home in Albuquerque; his children, Antonio Blas Candelaria and Leanna Amber Candelaria, both of Santa Fe, David Matthews, Joshua Matthews, Amber Matthews, and Ashley Matthews, all of the family home in Albuquerque; his mother, Vitalia Candelaria; his siblings, Jimmie Candelaria and wife Becky, Joe Candelaria, Benny Candelaria and wife Linda, Larry Candelaria, Gabe Candelaria and wife Gloria, Theresa Cordova and husband Joseph, Barbara Delgado and husband Frank; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at San Jose de Duranes Catholic Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd., on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
