Monica Martinez went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2004 at the age of 82. She was born on November 2, 1921 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her son, Felix Martinez and her husband, Maclovio. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her sons, Danny Martinez and wife Judy, Ernest Martinez and wife Agnes, Richard Martinez and wife Cleo, and Tony Martinez and wife Jeanette; daughters, Erlinda Ramirez and husband Jessie, Eralda Dominguez, Fedelina Naranjo and husband Carl, Marcela Martinez and Angela Ulibarri; brothers, Alfonso Lucero and wife Juanita and Johnny Lucero and wife Osilia; sisters, Emilia Sedillo and Annie Rascon; 38 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Monica will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Santuario de San Martin Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at Santuario de San Martin Church. Burial will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Ramirez, Jerry Archibeque, Robert Naranjo, Joseph Martinez, Michael Martinez, and Vincent Martinez. Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Martinez and Martin Gonzales.
