Jean Bagby, 53, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2004 after a short battle with cancer. Jean was born on October 4, 1951 in Rockford, Illinois. She moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in December, 1967 and graduated from Mohave County Union High School in 1969. She attended Northern Arizona University and graduated in 1973. She married David in June, 1973, moving to Albuquerque. Jean worked for a number of years at the Bernalillo County Treasurer's office, attaining the position of Administrative Officer. She worked as a secretary at Christ Lutheran Church until the birth of her daughter, Melissa, at which time Jean retired from work outside the house to be a full time homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, George Schwartz. Jean is survived by her husband, David, daughter, Melissa, mother, Geraldine Schwartz and brother John Schwartz. Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE with Pastor Bruce Wilder, officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
