Obituary for ESPARZA

Salvador "Sal" Esparza, 53, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died on October 24, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Mavis Esparza of Rio Rancho; three daughters, Lizabeth Teran and husband, Reuben of Phoenix, AZ, Alicia Esparza of Albuquerque and Valerie Esparza of Rio Rancho; mother, Marina Esparza of Gallup; sisters, Clara Marie Landavazo and husband, Allan of Gallup; brother, Leonard Esparza and wife, Kim of Gallup. Sal was expecting his first granddaughter on October 28, 2004. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. Sal was preceded in death by his father, John Esparza; and his nephew, Joshua Landavazo. He had worked for different companies at the airport as an Aircraft Mechanic and worked for contractors at Intel Corp. Sal's love was airplanes. He was very mechanically inclined, always helping those around him with their needs and projects. Sal loved creating and building things. Service will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Pastor Todd Cook, officiating. Burial will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho.
