Tom T. Garcia, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 17, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Lola V. Garcia; daughters, Dorothy Garcia and Mary Ellen White; son, Dan G. Garcia and wife, Clara; five grandchildren, David Garcia, Adrian Paul Garcia, Ramona Martz, Mike Garcia, Christine "Sugie" Garcia; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sabino and Carlota Garcia. For many years Mr. Garcia took pride in running the local grocery store in Wagon Mound at MacArthur's. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and especially boxing. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 20, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 21, 2004, 9:00 a.m., at the Shrine of St. Bernadette. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
