Lonnie G. Juarez, Sr., 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, died Thursday, October 14, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gladys M. Juarez of Albuquerque; son, Lonnie G. Juarez, Jr. of Albuquerque; daughter, Vanna Holland and husband, Jerry of Riggins, ID, sons, Jerry Wayne Longbotham and wife, LeeAnn of Capitan, NM and Jerry Thomas Juarez and wife, Karen of N. Richland Hills, TX; daughters, Vanita M. Southerland and husband, John of Ft. Lewis, WA and Gloria M. Masters and husband, John of Port Orchard, WA; and son, Lionel J. Juarez of Albuquerque; 18 grandchildren, Andrea, Bernadette, Laurene, JT, Dena, Joshua, Jeremy, Shara, Tammy, Lori, Nathan, Andrew, Seth, Luke, Noah, Amanda, John, Patrick; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Israel Juarez, Ismael Juarez and Jimmy Juarez; and sister, Maxine Villa. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Juarez, Robert Grassi; sister, Mabel Juarez; and parents, Thomas and Italia Juarez. Services will be held at Monday, October 18, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery NE. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday, October 19, 2004, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, October 17, 2004, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albuquerque Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd.
