Jesus K. Torrez, age 53, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend was welcomed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, Tuesday, October 5, 2004. He was a resident of Rio Rancho; and member of the Catholic Church. Jesus was preceded in death by his father, David Torrez, Jr. He is survived by his loving mother, Rupe Torrez of Seboyeta, NM; his brother, Galvin Torrez and wife, Marcy of Grants, NM; two sisters, Linda Casaus and husband, Dory of Rio Rancho, Lupe Guy of San Diego, CA; his special friend, Debbie Chavez; his loving nephews, Terry Torrez, David Casaus, Darrick Guy, Christopher Guy, and Dawson Chandler; his nieces, Tracy Valdez, Andrea Casaus, Christina Casaus, Teryn Torrez, Eliza Gutierrez; his Godchildren, Dominic, Leony, and Nicole; his beloved poker buddies, Magoo, Moondy, Ernie, Eloy, Gilly, and Marky. Jesus will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment will follow at the Seboyeta Community Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Elvis Torrez, Benito Torrez, Alfonso Torrez, Frankie Garcia, Richard Anzures, Jesse Calzada, Dominic Garcia, and Richard Torrez.
