Obituary for HEARY

June S. Heary, "Grandy," 87, was called home by the Lord, Sunday, October 3rd, 2004. Born in Richmond, VA, April 22, 1917, she retired as a supervisor for Coats and Clark, Inc. of Newport News, VA in the late 1970s, and has lived in Albuquerque the past 8 years. Mrs. Heary was preceded in death by her brother, William "Buster" Slater, and she is survived by her two daughters, June Runkle and husband ,Bill of Austin, TX, Louise Duncan and husband, Edward of Albuquerque, NM; her sister, Flora Materia of Hampton, VA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her sister-in-law, Helen Slater of Richmond, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. And when our day comes may we join her There in celebration. A memorial service will be held at Albuquerque Bible Church, 320 Montano Road NW, 4th St and Montano, on Friday, October 8, 2004 at 11 :00 a.m.. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to Macular Degeneration Research, a program of the American Health Assistance Foundation, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, Maryland.
