Ruth Helen Young, a 60-year resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 after a short illness. Born on Thursday, March 22, 1923 in Kansas, Helen moved with her husband and children to Albuquerque in 1946. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Clement and husband, Gene of Rio Rancho; daughter-in-law, Barbara Young of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Christina Clement and Maggie Young of Albuquerque, John Clement and wife, Stefanie and Bob Young, all of Las Vegas, NV, and Tim Young of Aurora, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clarence "Cy" Young; and her son, C. E. "Joe" Young. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 9, 2004, 11:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming NE. Memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to Adelante Development Center, 4261 Balloon Park Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
