Esequiel (Sam) Lesperance died on October 1, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Amelia Lesperance, his sons Charlie and Mark Lesperance, and daughter Rosemary Ortiz; his sister Josephine Chavez, and husband Jack and his brother Victor Campbell as well as nine Lesperance brothers and three Lesperance sisters; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Anthony Ortiz, Martin, Joseph, David, and Steve Chavez, and Charles Lesperance Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Lesperance and Mattew Ortiz. A rosary will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Sunday the 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Anne's on Monday the 4th at 10:00 a.m. Final internment will follow at San Jose De Armijo cemetery.
