William (Bill) Rael, a resident of Veguita, went with Our Lord on September 30, 2004 after battling illness for several years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Nellie and Anastacio Rael. William (Bill) is survived by his sister, Geraldine and her husband, Roy Jaramillo of Veguita; his nephew, Paul Jaramillo of Los Angeles; nieces, Alberta Jaramillo, Sharlene Roybal and her children, Ashley, Joshua, and Mikayla; Melinda, her husband, Santos Aragon, and their children, Christian, Joseph, and Ally, all of Veguita. A special thanks to his care givers, Socorro Guardian and Phillip Pena. Services will be held at San Juan Mission in Veguita, beginning with a viewing on Sunday, October 3 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 4; at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Veguita Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Jaramillo, Santos Aragon, Joshua Roybal, Alex Rael, Sammy Saiz, and Jimmy Garcia. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St. Belen.
