Obituary for ROBINSON

Roland H. "Curly" Robinson, 82, resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Monday, September 27, 2004. Born September 9, 1922 in Texas, he was the son of Howard and Mary (Ward) Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; four daughters, Roxy Cantrel and Kathy Bordlemay, both of Albuquerque, Bonnie Jones of Arkansas, and Sandy Maxwell of Nebraska; a son, Ronald H. Robinson of California; two brothers, Ranny and Horace Kennedy; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is fondly remembered by all of his family and friends at La Mesa Inn. A visitation will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Palm Chapel, Rev. Johnny Ross Kennedy officiating. A private internment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
