Betty Sue Powers, born on April 10, 1935 in Lubbock TX. Married June 7, 1950. 54 treasured years to Howard Glenn Powers. Mother of three girls: Carol Powers, Ginger Williams, and Tammy Moquino. Grandmother of seven grandchildren: Shania Swank, Betty Jones, David Hogan, Derek Williams, Audrey Chavez, Amanda Chavez, Arianna Chavez. Great-grandmother of six: Ashlyn Jones, D.J Williams, Abigail Swank, Antonio Rodriguez, Emma Grace Swank, Amrie Williams. Sister, Elizabeth Walters She had many gifts from the Lord, one of which she was a self taught Artist and a fashion model in Lubbock, Texas for fifteen years. She was in love with Nature, fishing, and gardening. But her greatest love was for her husband Glenn, her family and her little dog Scarlet. There will be a viewing Friday October 1, 2004 in the chapel of Riverside Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Services to be held Monday October 4, 2004 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow.
