Obituary for GOODSON

Virginia Goodson passed away in a Las Vegas, NV hospital on September 19, 2004. She was born August 26, 1915 in Des Moines, NM to M.G. and Laura Edmondson, who preceded her in death, as did her two sisters, Eileen Johnson and Marian Pinson. She was married to Lawrence Wilkinson from 1932 until 1971, when he preceded her in death. They had lived in the Des Moines area for many years until they moved to Logan, NM in 1959 where they operated a Texaco gas station. She later was married to Claude Goodson who also preceded her in death as of 1989. Virginia was an active member of the Baptist church as well as other organizations in Logan. Virginia will be greatly missed by her daughter, Betty Ann Christopher of Las Vegas, NV; grand-daughter, Alice (Lonnie) Sproul of Logandale, NV; and great-grand-children, Brandon, Lacey, and Kaley Sproul; as well as many nieces and cousins, all of whom loved her very much. A viewing will be held September 24, 2004 at Bunkers Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
