Mrs. Otilia M. Tafoya, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 19, 2004. Mrs. Tafoya is survived by her loving children, Christine Garner, Mario Tafoya, Belinda Tafoya-Porras and husband, Peter, Cornelio Tafoya, Brenda Tafoya, Denise Tafoya and companion, Leroy Lopez; four sisters, Donilia Nieto and husband, Felipe, Beatrice Sanchez, Guadalupe Romero and husband, Macolvio, Sadie Dunagan and husband, Steve; two brothers, Roger Mascarenas and wife, Jackie, Eugene Mascarenas and wife, Mary; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; one uncle, Juan Mascarenas of Oakland, CA; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Tafoya was preceded in death by her parents, Bernardino and Dulcinea Mascarenas; sons, Cordy, Joseph and Anthony Tafoya; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tafoya was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Tafoya will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Lorenzo Castillo. A final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at San Martin Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eugene Mascarenas, Roger Mascarenas, Dennis Solano, John Tafoya, Michael Garner, and Kevin Garner. Honorary pallbearers wiil be Cody Tafoya Jr., Christopher Tafoya, Angelica Padilla, Diane Trujillo, Carla Mendoza, Henrietta Tafoya, Jasmine Tafoya, Adam Tafoya, Renee Tafoya, and Christina Garner.
