Obituary for CONDIT

Clifford C. Condit, Sr., 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1928, died on Saturday, September 18, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Mary D. Condit; son, Clifford C. Condit, Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Albuquerque; daughter, Sharon Decker and husband, Robert, of Lamar, CO; brothers, Ray Condit, Edward Condit, Leroy Condit, and Weldon Condit; sisters, Maurine Miller, Peggy Lou Eggen, Gale Toulouse, Iona Ritchey; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Allen. Clifford married Mary D. Townsend in 1938. He served in Navy Seabees in World War II in the South Pacific. Clifford was a plumber for many years and was an avid outdoorsman who built everything from baby cradles to houses. He had been a member of VFW Post 2182 in Farmington, NM. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Chaplain, Col.
