Obituary for BROWN

Mary Z. Brown, 87, passed away at her home in Clovis on September 17, 2004. She was born February 17, 1917 in Chloride, New Mexico to Frank and Eufima Zamora. She married Alfredo Brown in 1933. She moved to Clovis in 1997 and then moved to Albuquerque in 2001 and had recently moved back to Clovis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, three sons, her brother and her two sisters. Survivors include three, sons Tom Brown and wife, Olaya of California, Robert Brown and wife, Amy of Grants, Phillip Brown of Albuquerque; seven daughters, Esther Torrez of Albuquerque, Stella Tafoya and husband, Cruz of Rio Rancho, Kathy Wiggins of Albuquerque, Alice McBride and husband, Jim of Clovis, Lee Cassidy of Clovis, Lydia Blevins and husband, Bob of Clovis, Jean Glidewell and husband, Dwain of Santa Fe; she's had approximately sixty one grandchildren; fifty nine great-grandchildren; twenty five great-great-grandchildren. She will be returning to Albuquerque to her final resting place. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2004 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary Chapel in Albuquerque. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Legacy Church in Albuquerque with Tom Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis is handling arrangements.
