Bertha R. Westerhold, 90, born in Spring Valley, IL on Thursday, August 20, 1914, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2004. She is survived by her two sons, Charles "Gene" Westerhold and wife, Shirleene of Los Alamos, NM and Roger L. Westerhold and wife, Roberta of Los Lunas, NM; grandchildren, Lisa Dahlenburg and husband, Michael, Steve Westerhold and wife, Lucille, Gina Cushing and husband, Bill, Charles Westerhold and wife, Tina, Susan Young and husband, Jeff, Tammy Cerise, Anthony Garcia and Trish Gallegos; six great-grandchildren, Wenona, Cody, Casey, Ryan, Andrea, and Richard; and one great-great-granddaughter, Elyssa. Bertha was preceded in death by husband, Charley H. Westerhold; daughter, Alberta Cimino; four brothers; and two sisters. She retired from Albuquerque Public Schools in 1983. Services will be held on Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Honorary pallbearers will be Cippie Garcia, Steve Westerhold, Charles Westerhold, Richard Gallegos, Ryan Westerhold, and Casey Cushing. Friends may visit Chester T.
