Elvira Villa Lopez was born August 12, 1934 in Santa Maria del Oro, Durango, Mexico. She passed away September 14, 2004 in Albuquerque. Elvira enjoyed spending time with her family, eating out at restaurants and attending Church services. She is survived by her eight children, Enrique Lopez, Jose Lopez, Maria Gamboa, Francisco Lopez, Gloria Gallegos and husband, Johnny, Beatrice Lopez, Gabriella Lopez and Ramon Lopez; two sisters, Bertha Franco and Licha Garcia; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Rosary will be recited in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services on Friday, September 17, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will also be recited at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
