Obituary for KING

Fred King, 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Susanna King of the home; sons, Steve King and wife, Susan of Albuquerque, Jeff King of Bozeman, MT, and Gary King of Albuquerque; daughter, Betsy Brubaker and husband, Steve of Antioch, TN; grandchildren, William Brubaker and Rose King; sister, Selma McDaniel of Farmington, NM; and brother, John King of El Paso, TX. Fred served in the U.S. Navy See Bees in the European Theatre and Korean War. He attended the University of New Mexico where he met his lovely bride. Fred worked at Sandia National Laboratories for 29 years and while working there taught Algebra and Spanish, on the side. He was active in Boy Scouting, enjoyed backpacking and camping, and was active in back yard tree farming. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Leon Hudson officiating.
