Cora Romero Roybal. Born May 26, 1911 in Las Trampas, NM. Died Saturday, September 11, 2004 in Albuquerque, NM. Beloved wife of Samuel D. Roybal who predeceased her in death. Mother of Dr. Samuel B. Roybal and R. Jon Roybal. Grandmother of Dr. Serena Huffman, Dr. Raphael Roybal, Jeanette N. Moseley, Helene Y. Andrade, and Celina D. Roybal. Great-grandmother of nine great-grandchildren. Mother/Grandmother/Aunt to numerous relatives and friends, including Lourdes Feist and Dora Duran and their children. Services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Jaime O. Quinones officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
