Robert "Kelly" Johnson, Sr., 48, blessed this world with his arrival on Saturday, January 3, 1956 and made his way to heaven on Sunday, September 12, 2004. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Johnson; five children, Bernadette Valdez, Julian Ruiz, Melanie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Jr., and Sara Johnson; three grandchildren, Victoria Valdez, Alexis Johnson-Lobato, and Skyler Valdez; siblings, Linda Peterman, Gloria Hatch, Felix Espinosa, Rebecca Williamson, John Johnson, Jr., Bernice Garcia, and David Jordan. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, John Johnson, Sr.; and sister, Debbie Pierce. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Church, 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW.
