Santiago Jim Stockton, 62, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, September 7, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jolene Hogrefe Stockton; son, Santiago Stockton of Albuquerque; brothers, Ernest Stockton and wife, Loretta of Denver, CO and Frank Stockton and wife, Sandra of Albuquerque; mother, Rose Baca Stockton Smith of Albuquerque; and other loving family members. Santiago was a compassionate APS teacher for 25 years. He enjoyed his work as an adapted PE teacher and was rewarded many times over the years. Santiago also made special tin angels. He loved the mountains, the ocean, and everything in between. Santiago was a lover of life, nature, his Lord, and his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. "We love you Jim." Rosary will be recited Friday, September 10, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
