Teresa D. "Grandma B" Barresi, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Saturday, August 28, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Martin and husband, Richard of Albuquerque, Cora Kirk and husband, Paul of DeSoto, TX; sons, Jess Barresi and special friend, Flo Samoyedny of Palm Bay, FL, Victor Barresi and wife, Marla of Kirkland, IL and David Barresi and wife, Sandy of Albuquerque; sisters, Lena Wrhel and Anna Nelson of Albuquerque, and Barbara Jennings of Edgewood; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper; sons, Anthony and Michael; and 2 grandsons, Tim and Donny Barresi. Grandma B, the matriarch of our family, was an inspiration to each of us. She was a beautiful person, loved to laugh, loved to visit and always had a generous loving heart. Mrs. Barresi was a member of McIntosh Senior Center, Los Volcanos Senior Center and a member of Our Lady of Most Holy Rosary Church. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary-Westside Chapel on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
