Obituary for LOPEZ

Angela Y. Lopez, born July 12, 1956, a very giving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, August 25, 2004. She was preceded in death by her father, Aladino Lopez, and two brothers, Sammy and Dino Lopez. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Gilbert Lopez of Albuquerque; mother, Frieda Rael; two sons, Gilbert "James" Lopez Jr. and wife, Kelly of Boulder, CO, Paul Lopez and wife, Monica of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Diego, Dominic, and Sammy P.; brother, Donald Lopez of Vacaville, CA; brother-in-law, Ernie Lopez of Albuquerque; great-aunt, "Tuttie" of Las Vegas, NM; uncle, Donald Vasquez of Las Vegas, NM; cousin and friend, Patsy Vasquez of Pueblo, CO; as well as many other family members and friends. This came as a great shock to everyone and she was truly loved and will be missed by all. With a smile and laugh that would brighten any room, she was the backbone of our family. Rosary will take place Sunday, August 29, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 30, 2004, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and sympathy.
