Dora Heldman Rosenbaum, 97, died on August 24 in Albuquerque. She was born in Cleveland, OH on September 9, 1906, to Morris and Rebecca Heldman. Dora is survived by her children, Jacob Rosenbaum and wife, Marjorie, of Cleveland, Ernest Rosenbaum and wife, Isadora, of San Francisco, Arthur Rosenbaum and wife, Rona, of Baltimore, and Lillian Snyder and partner, Mary Alice Morris, of Albuquerque; her sister, Fannie Ushkow of West Palm Beach; ten grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lionel Clarence Rosenbaum; and a sister, Lee Goldman. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Dora and Lionel Rosenbaum Presidential Scholarship Fund, Hodgin Hall, The University of New Mexico, which provides music scholarships for aspiring students.
