Ruth Iva Dockham, 84, a teacher in the Albuquerque Public Schools system from 1963-1983, passed away suddenly at the U.S. Soldiers' and Airmen's Home in Washington, D.C., on August 21, 2004. Mrs. Dockham was born in Portland, OR, and grew up in Seattle. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. She was married to the late Ralph Dockham of Albuquerque. She is survived by her brother, David Bullock, of Silverdale, WA, and her daughter, Carol Dockham, of Lorton, VA. Funeral services are scheduled for August 30 at Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia.
