Opal T. McCown, 82, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, August 25, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn McCown and Linda Stucker; son-in-law, Mitchell Stucker, all of Albuquerque; six brothers; and three sisters, residing in Texas. Mrs. McCown was preceded in death by her husband, James A. McCown; and son, James T. McCown. Mrs. McCown worked for many years for the Department of Energy. Services will be held in Whitney, TX.
