Arthur (Bryan) Davis, Sr., 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away at home in Albuquerque on Monday, August 23, 2004. Bryan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara J. Davis; daughter, Kim R. Young and husband, David; son, Art Davis, Jr. and wife, Barbara; daughter, Sandy Davis and partner, Teresa Larson; four grandchildren, Larry Winsor and partner, Jennifer Vallejos, Charlie Winsor, Leah Nielsen, Danah Nielsen; three great-grandchildren, Charlie Winsor, Jr., Brandon Winsor, Angela Winsor; and three sisters, Virginia Kershner, Florinda Lunsford and husband, Cecil, and Shirley Fletcher. Bryan was preceded in death by his son, Jack (Jackie) Davis. Pallbearers will be Art Davis, Jr., Dan Nielsen, David Young, Larry Winsor, Charlie Winsor, and Troy Wrye. Bryan retired in 1970 as a Lieutenant from the United States Navy after 20 years of dedicated service. He was also employed with the New Mexico State Highway Department for 15 years. Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 25 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Sunrise Funeral Options. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
