Jerry Pat Alderete, age 41, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 20, 2004. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elfigo Alderete Sr., and grandmother, Emma Benavidez. Jerry is survived by his wife, Maria Alderete; children, Olivia, Jerry "J.J.", and Abigale; granddaughter, Makayla; mother, Kathy Joy Vialpando Bachicha and husband, Sal; father, Elfigo Alderete Jr. and wife, Ernestine; brothers, Frankie and Al; sisters, Annette Shanahan and husband, Billy, Marlene Dewyer and husband, Dale, Eileen Aragon and husband, Paul, and Angel Vialpando; grandfather, Pat Benavidez; grandmother, Emma Alderete; nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at New Beginnings Church of God, 3601 Montgomery NE., at Carlisle. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
