Andelecio Andy Maldonado, 66, went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2004. He was born on October 25, 1937 in Tajique, New Mexico. Mr. Maldonado is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary L. Maldonado; his sons, Emilio Maldonado and wife Louisa, Joseph Maldonado and wife Diane, Valerio Maldonado and wife Nadine and Andelecio Maldonado Jr. and wife Bernadette; daughters, Leanore Rios and husband Ivan, Rita Ortega and husband Michael and Hazel Silva and husband Jerry; sisters, Mary Apodaca and husband Demecio, Tomasita Rael and Cipriana Martinez; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Andelecio will be deeply missed by his loving family. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Germain Carter, Ross Baca Jr., Sammy Baca Jr., Jerry Apodaca, Simon Baca and Steven Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Mr. Maldonado's grandchildren.
