Obituary for MAHER

Patrick Henry Maher passed away from this life Saturday, August 21, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Maher; and daughter, Jill Matthews; as well as his brother, Tim and wife Janet Maher of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Suzie and husband Jim Ploskonka of Cedar Crest, New Mexico; brother, Mark Maher of Albuquerque; brother, Chris and wife Karen Maher of Albuquerque; sister, Maggie and husband Curt Richmond of Frisco, Texas; sister' Amy and husband Mike Anderson of Albuquerque; Uncle Jack and Aunt El Vera Biedenstein of St. Louis, Missouri; mother-in-law, Gen Scoggin of Uvalde, Texas; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret Maher. Pat loved baseball, and was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Pat served in the United States Army from 1971 until his retirement in 1990, achieving the rank of Major. He taught and coached in Natalia, Texas for nine years. Pat was the oldest of seven children, and will be remembered by all as one who did what was right, and helped the helpless. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Trinity Baptist Church with military honors. A private burial will take place at a later date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
