Linda G. Sanchez, 49, a resident of Rio Rancho for three years and a resident of Los Alamos for over 20 years, died on August 19, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Kirkland and her life partner, Roland Gonzales of Ladera Ranch, CA; mother, Janet Hutcheson of Rio Rancho, NM; Linda's life partner, Sammy R. Garcia of Rio Rancho; sister, Karen Kurpakus and husband, Stan, and their daughters, Krystal and Amber of Vista, CA; ex-husband, Jimmy Kirkland of Niceville, FL. Linda was an employee of Los Alamos National Labs; she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 4:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Bishop Grant Allen, officiating. Linda was a very loving, kind and compassionate person and always had a beautiful smile on her face; she is loved and will be missed very much by her family and friends.
