Obituary for EMIG

Frank R. Emig II, 62, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, died Monday, August 16, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Emig of Albuquerque; daughter, Heather Brano and husband, Keith of Albuquerque; son, Kenneth Emig and wife, Kim of Albuquerque; daughter, Katherine Piper and husband, Bryan of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jacob, Jack, Caleb, Austin, Andrew, Christian, Sarah, and Kaitlyn; mother, Elsie Emig; and sisters, Dee Slenes and Elizabeth Emig. Mr. Emig served in the Navy and was a retired Albuquerque Police Officer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #1 and New Mexico Sheriff and Police Association. Frank had many talents and interests but above all he was a loving husband and father and a proud grandfather. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 20, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Briane Dennison officiating.
