Robert (Bob) Allan Friedberg December 28, 1946 - August 8, 2004 Bob Friedberg, 57, died on Sunday, August 8, 2004 in San Pinamar, Canelones, Uruguay. He is survived by his wife, Maria Fernanda Via Migliaro of San Pinamar; his mother, Opal Friedberg of Albuquerque; son, Michael Aaron of Albuquerque; grandsons, Andrew and Marcus; and brothers, Eugene of Wichita, KS and Donald of Albuquerque. A graduate of Sandia High School, Bob graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1969 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering while completing the ROTC program. Commissioned into the Navy, he served in the Republic of Vietnam, flying all over Asia utilizing his skills as an Intelligence Officer. Bob received his Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Wichita State University. Having recently settled in Uruguay, he will be interred at the local cemetery in San Pinamar. Local memorial Services will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church, 8510 Wyoming NE, on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 3:30 p.m.
