Obituary for BOYCE

Harold J. Boyce, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died July 27, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Kathleen Boyce; daughters, Jeanette M. Sisson and Linda R. Taylor and her husband, Gregory S. Taylor, all of Albuquerque; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren. His first wife, S. Maxine Boyce, preceded him in death after celebrating their 50th anniversary. His 4 brothers, John, Byard, Walter, and Wallace, and 2 sisters, Verna Boyce and Vianna Bettis, all preceded him in death. He served in the Army, primarily in India, during WWII. He was known for his humor and jovial personality. His hobbies included bowling, fishing, golf and playing cards. He was inducted into the ABC Bowlers Hall of Fame on October 22, 1994. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Park. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the lung, heart or diabetes assn.
