Obituary for SHEBLER

Ruth M. Shebler, 80, a longtime resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2004. Ruth was born June 12, 1924, the daughter of Emil and Catherine Lendzian, in Staten Island, NY. She had been a Daycare worker with the Amiquitos Daycare before she retired. Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho. She loved reading, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in December 2002 and one grandson, George Shea. She is survived by three children, Janice Sciarrillo and husband, Tony of Albuquerque, James Shebler and wife, Debbie of Rio Rancho, and Judy Valencia and husband, Ambrose of Portland, OR; two sisters, Gladyes Ford of Long Island, NY and Beverly Frank of Earlton, NY; seven grandchildren, Jessie, Mathew, Joseph, Mellissa, Lynn, Michael, and Christina; and nine great-grandchildren, Austin, Zach, James, Brandon, Anthony, Caleb, Preston, Jordyn, and Richard. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with Pastor Ted With officiating. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made in Ruth's name to the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho Building Fund, 3906 19th Ave., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
